The story

From the looms of Sonepur comes Bomkai, where ikat meets intricate supplementary-thread work on the border and pallu. Fish, tortoise and lotus — symbols of prosperity in Odia tradition — are woven, not printed, into this teal silk with antique-gold zari. A saree for the occasions you want remembered.
