The story
From the appliqué lanes of Pipili — the craft village that has stitched canopies for the Jagannath Rath Yatra for centuries — comes this vivid chandua. Layers of coloured cloth are cut and hand-stitched into suns, parrots and lotuses that warm a wall instantly. Every piece supports a stitching family in Puri district.
