The story
Dhokra is one of the world’s oldest metal-casting traditions — more than 4,000 years of the lost-wax technique, kept alive by tribal artisans. This Nandi is built up in wax thread by thread, encased in clay and cast in brass; the mould is broken to release it, so no two are ever identical.
